My normal weekday goes like this. I get off work at 5pm, reach home by 7pm, eat supper then go to bed three hours after.
Is 7pm too late for supper? I feel like it is. The number of hours between supper and bedtime is not enough for my body to fully digest everything. Besides after a long and hard at work, it’s really an effort to keep myself from not having my fill during supper and a snack later on.
I’m tired of this insane, unhealthy eating pattern. Tired of feeling grumpy afterward and also of the unwanted extra pounds.
So in an attempt to end my constant struggle, I’m taking on the 21-day challenge. Research has proven that it takes about this long for a person to change a habit. So beginning tomorrow, I plan to eat only until I’m 80% full, as recommended by Dr. Oz of Oprah and will refrain myself from stuffing myself an hour before I go to bed for 21 days. This blog serves as a testament to my plan and I hope to update at the end of this challenge with good news!
